It looks like the SCHWEIGER family was originally from western Bayern before migrating further west into Baden. Well, maybe not all of them, but at least one of the SCHWEIGERs (Johann) made the move in the 17th century.

The SCHWEIGER family has been traced to Herbolzheim, Baden. Additionally, it appears that one record mentions the nearby town of Ödheim (Oedheim), so more microfilm may have to be ordered.

Brehm, Rick & Schweiger

Research into the RICK family has been progressing well, thanks to Jim's tip about the family's hometown of Siegelsbach. Some of the "new" surnames (BREHM, SCHWEIGER) have already been added to the website. It may be a while before all of the data is sorted, but I promise it will be worth the wait.
